Description:
This college application workshop for POPCS rising seniors is an informative and collaborative experience designed to guide students through the major components of the college application process. Morning Sessions (9:00–12:00):Each morning will feature a whole‑group workshop covering a key aspect of the college application, such as building a balanced college list, understanding application requirements, crafting personal statements, and developing a strong resume. Students will receive direct instruction, examples, and opportunities to ask questions and engage in discussion. Afternoon Sessions (1:00–4:00):Afternoons will be designated independent work time with supervision and support. During this time, students may drop in for personalized feedback, one‑on‑one guidance, essay review, or assistance with any part of their applications as they work at their own pace. Registration required. No fee assessed to POPCS students.
