Description:
Summer Physical Education is designed to introduce students to the basics of individual sports and recreational activities. Emphasis will be placed on developing physical skills, acquiring knowledge of movement and rules, and good sportsmanship. Students will be assessed through their participation in all activities to the best of their ability.
Similar to our physical education courses during the school year, these courses will be offered as a pass or fail offering without numeric grades. Students who earn a passing grade will earn 0.5 physical education credit. All students will be required to wear school-appropriate shorts, t-shirts with sleeves (dress code appropriate), socks and tennis shoes. We will be traveling off campus for some activities. The expenses for equipment and activities are included in the cost of the course.
