Description:
Taught by Mrs. Riley Bandstra (M.Eng.), this course is designed to support rising Upper School students and prepare them for writing expectations they will encounter in any English class at POPCS. It will be used to strengthen skills in thesis and commentary writing, analyzing texts in depth, and offer general writing guidance.
Whether a student is wanting to build specific writing skills, work on thesis statements, or construct a firm foundation for writing analytically, this camp will be tailored to individual student needs. The students will practice their composition and receive daily feedback on how to improve.
This camp is open to POPCS students only. Recommended for upcoming freshmen and sophomores.
